Policies & Procedures

Studio time at the studio goes far beyond JUST the time that you paid for. Keep us up to date with your accomplishments so we can promote your new music and live performances! Be on the lookout for studio updates, learn where to perform live, how to get your music to the radio, and recommendations for videographers, album artwork designers, and more!

BOOKING POLICIES

  • A 50% deposit is required to hold your spot. No exceptions unless granted permission from FYU-CHUR with a proven history of good attendance. 

  • Deposits can be paid via CashApp ($fyuchur) or PayPal (fyu-chur@fyu-chur.com). If you want to pay a deposit in cash, you can call or text (580) 308-7070 to schedule a time to drop off your deposit.

  • The remaining payment must be paid at your scheduled studio session and can be paid via cash, CashApp or PayPal.

  • A transaction fee of 3.49% + $0.49 will be added to all credit or debit card payments.

  • Your studio session will begin and end at the time that you scheduled. If your song(s) did not get finished in the time frame that you booked, you must schedule studio time again to get it finished. FYU-CHUR is very efficient and 98% of songs recorded are finished during scheduled time. Expect to get one song done per hour. Unrealistic expectations (i.e. getting 5 songs done in 2 hours) will cause for you to have to schedule more time to get everything finished. Songs will not be finished outside of your booked hours.

EDITS/REVISIONS

  • FYU-CHUR strives to help all artists carry out their musical vision, so revisions to songs are uncommon at the studio! However, if you would like to request a revision, there will be a revision fee which will vary depending on your specific request.  

  • If you would like to request an edit or revision to your music, please email info@fyu-chur.com or call (580) 308-7070 to discuss your revision.

ATTENDANCE POLICIES

  • To reschedule OR cancel your session, click on the "Change/Cancel Appointment" button in your initial studio session confirmation email. You are also welcome to call/text (580) 308-7070 or email info@fyu-chur.com.

  • 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel your appointment, or your 50% deposit will be forfeited. If you are unable to give 24 hours notice, you may cancel your appointment in under 24 hours with good reason and have your deposit credited towards your next session. This is required to prevent loss of time and money for the studio when other artists could have booked that session spot. 

  • Time lost due to a late arrival will be taken out of your scheduled studio time.

BEFORE/DURING YOUR SESSION

  • Send all beats to Fyu-chur@Fyu-chur.com or bring it with you on a flash drive or Android phone. If you're using instrumentals from YouTube or SoundCloud, just remember the title of the song/video when you get here and we will go from there!

  • Editing your files and transferring your files are all done within your session time.

  • You will receive your finished song at the end of your session time unless on the rare occasion that more time needs to be booked.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

  • Please save your music after it is emailed to you. If you have a song that you received a long time ago and cannot find it, please do a search in your email and the song will come up. It is not the responsibility of the studio to search for and re-send you previously completed songs.

  •  Keep in touch! We work hard to promote artists and would love to include your music on the blog and our social media pages. Be on the lookout for future updates on the blog page to find performance opportunities, insider industry tips, & more! You are also encouraged to send any information about live performances and new music releases to info@fyu-chur.com to be featured as well!

  • Don't forget to leave a 5 star written review telling us why you loved your studio session!

GENERAL POLICIES

  • Smoking is not permitted in the studio. There is a patio outside where clients are more than welcome to step out and smoke.

  • Vaping is allowed in the studio.

  • Alcohol is allowed as long as you can control your use and behavior!

  • Kids are allowed in the studio as long as they are able to be controlled.

  • Friends are allowed as long as they can be kept to 5 people or under.

  • BROKEN EQUIPMENT - IF YOU BREAK IT, YOU BUY IT
